Tour over 40 homes built before the Civil War.

Take a walking or driving tour of beautiful antebellum mansions using a guide book from the local historical society. Check out the publications available from the Kershaw County Historical Society.

Relive history at the Battle of Camden site.

Camden was the location of one of the greatest defeats for the colonies during the Revolutionary War. A dozen signs describe the action on over two miles of trails. More information is available from the Palmetto Conservation Foundation.

Float down a 3 mile cypress canoe trail at Goodale State Park and be transported into awe-inspiring scenery with an incredible variety of indigenous wildlife.

Explore the Camden Revolutionary War Park.

The Camden Revolutionary War Park, a 98 acre outdoor museum complex, includes several restored period houses, reconstructions of military fortifications, and a mansion that was used as British headquarters during the war.

Visit the Camden Archives and Museum.
